NextStep is a 501c3 non-profit fitness facility that works with people battling all types of neurological disorders. Our mission is to provide life long health and wellness to people living with all forms of paralysis.
NextStep needs driven individuals to assist in a hands on environment, to physically assist clients who are striving to overcome all different levels of functional impairment. As a part of the Christopher and Dana Reeve's Foundations NeuroRecovery Network, we bring clinically developed exercise based techniques to the community setting.
We are looking to fill positions that start part-time, with potential to grow into a full-time position.
NextStep is an internationally recognized non-profit organization that makes life-changing rehab accessible and affordable to those living with paralysis. We provide cutting-edge rehab and fitness for individuals living with SCI, Stroke, MS, CP, TBI, Parkinson's, and other neurological conditions.
Our goals are to:
- Bring research based techniques of activity-based rehabilitation to the neurologically impaired community in an affordable and accessible setting to help clients get the most out of their recovery program.
- Show efficacy of research based, Activity-based training in acute and chronic conditions and educate clients, family members, and other professionals, about the importance of Activity-based Training.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday
