About This Role
Are you a personal trainer, exercise science or kinesiology graduate, movement coach, or performance-minded professional who wants to do more than count reps or follow generic programs? At Brain & Spine Wellness Center, you will work at the intersection of movement, brain health, and neuroplasticity, helping patients improve balance, coordination, vision, and nervous system function through cutting-edge, brain-based therapy. This role is technically a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant, but in practice you will function as a Brain Health Therapy Assistant, guiding patients through neurological rehabilitation and performance-focused therapy under direct doctor supervision.
What You’ll Do
- Guide patients through brain-based movement therapies, including vestibular training, balance work, eye-tracking, and neuromuscular re-education
- Perform and assist with neurological diagnostics, including videooculography (VOG) and balance/postural stability testing
- Take and record vital signs as part of patient monitoring
- Observe movement quality and patient responses and report findings to the doctor
- Prepare, clean, and reset therapy and diagnostic areas between sessions
- Maintain therapy equipment, supplies, and an organized clinical environment
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver a high-quality, professional patient experience
Why This Role Is Different
Brain & Spine Wellness Center is at the forefront of functional neurology and neurorehabilitation, using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technology rarely found in private practice. Our clinic has access to an AxisAI rotary chair—one of only four in the world—allowing for precision vestibular assessment and brain-based rehabilitation typically seen only in specialty or research settings.
Who We’re Looking For
- Background or strong interest in personal training, exercise science, kinesiology, movement coaching, or human performance
- Comfort coaching, cueing, and correcting movement for all ranges
- Curious, coachable, and eager to learn complex neurological systems
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Physically able to stand, move, and assist patients throughout the day
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $35,000–$45,000 annually (ranging by hours worked and experience), with increased pay upon successful completion of required licensure. Paid major holidays (Christmas, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July). Five vacation days and five sick days annually (unpaid time off). Paid time off (PTO) is earned based on tenure and increases with length of employment.
Hours Needed This is a full-time position that can be structured to 30-40 hours per week schedule.
