About Us
Shellharbour Sports Physio is a busy private practice located in Shell Cove, NSW, just 1.5 hours south of Sydney. We have a large focus on sport, fitness and training injuries. We are committed to getting members of the community back to their chosen sports/hobbies after injury as quickly as possible. We treat our clients in private rooms as well as in our gym. All appointments are one on one with no overlapping of clients. We also provide sports coverage to our local AFL, Rugby League and soccer teams.
The type of clients we treat include:
Private patients
Referrals from GPs (Medicare or Private)
WorkCover/CTP Claims
DVA clients
NDIS clients
Local Sporting Clubs
Our rooms are located within Shell Cove Family Health, a busy medical centre, which provides a range of health services including doctors (GP), nurses, clinical psychologist and exercise physiologists.
The Position
We are looking for a qualified physiotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
An interest in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries
A strong work ethic and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A strong passion for physiotherapy and commitment to lifelong learning
Treatment plan which includes injury education, manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation.
This opportunity can be full time or part time. New graduates are welcome to apply. Work hours are flexible and can be negotiated. We highly value ongoing professional development with time allocated for mentoring, self-directed learning and course attendance.
Requirements
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Professional indemnity insurance

Shell Cove is a coastal suburb of Shellharbour City, just 1.5 hours south of Sydney. It is an area of natural beauty with a picturesque coastline set against the backdrop of the Illawarra escarpment. Shell Cove is a rapidly growing area and home of the recently established Shellharbour Marina.
