Title: Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach will be responsible for overseeing the team of local coaches and delivering the best workout experience in the industry to our clients. The HSCC will report to the General Manager, assisting in ensuring all coaches are Level 1 certified in the D1 Way and maintaining quality control standards through consistent auditing and coaching feedback.
As a coach, you will be responsible for delivering the best workout experience in the industry to our clients. You will demonstrate a passion for training athletes of all ages, from 7 years old to the adult athlete. You will lead training in D1 membership workouts, D1-on-1, small group personal training, and team training.
As a Level 1 Certified coach in the D1 Way, you will maintain a high level of coaching, adhering to the latest brand standards and quality control measures. You will assist in conducting assessments and goal setting during the FTA process, ensuring athletes are prescribed, motivated, and committed to the proper program to reach their goals.
As the main coach for all classes, you will oversee the coaching schedule and conduct and lead all classes the D1 Way. This requires proper attire, proper music, loud verbal coaching, understanding and enforcing coaching cues, organization of the group sessions, and tempo and transition of all the groups.
You will also be responsible for training and developing the other coaches in the facility through staff meetings, continuing education, and program review. You will ensure all new coaches go through the proper process to become a D1 coach and provide feedback to the D1 Home Office on the programming and success stories.
In addition, you will oversee the training spaces maintenance and cleaning, maintaining equipment, cleaning, and organization of all training areas. You will also attend and lead marketing events such as competitions and combines.
Overall, as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients receive the best workout experience in the industry, and for training and developing a team of passionate and skilled coaches
Responsibilities:
As the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing training programs for athletes of all ages.
- Maintaining a high level of coaching standards and quality control measures.
- Conducting assessments and goal setting for athletes.
- Overseeing the coaching schedule and leading all classes in the D1 Way.
- Training and developing other coaches in the facility.
- Overseeing the maintenance and cleaning of training spaces and equipment.
- Attending and leading marketing events such as competitions and combines.
- Providing feedback to the D1 Home Office on programming and success stories.
- Assisting the General Manager in ensuring all coaches are certified in the D1 Way.
- Reporting to the General Manager and assisting in ensuring all coaches are Level 1 certified in the D1 Way.

Pay: From $50,000.00 to $60,00.00 per year + Commission

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, or related field).
Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength & Conditioning Association (CSCS from NSCA)
1-3 years of speed/strength/conditioning or personal training experience
Ability to communicate effectively with youth and adults
Live near the facility or seek to relocate immediately
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
3+ years of high school, collegiate, or professional speed and strength training experience
Athletic or sports background
Experience training or coaching athletes
Existing relationships with local schools, coaches and sports teams a PLUS
First-Aid/CPR/AED training/certifications
