Seeking dynamic individual for a dual Massage (LMT) and Fitness Specialist role working with various populations and clientele at our state of the art and newly constructed Recreation Center. The Rec is pioneering and promoting the integrated health model in providing a seamless integration of performance training, fitness and wellness, nutrition, rehabilitation, recovery, childcare, and recreational sport activities all under one roof. 

The ideal candidate will have the professional opportunity to advance to a role beyond the listed post based on the performance, management, and success of the Performance, Health, and Fitness Department and the Rec as a whole. Role includes base salary as listed Plus additional Reeves County benefits. 

Requirements

Bachelors in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related degree from an accredited university.

Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). Must currently hold or able to obtain license in Texas.

Background and experience in Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, etc.

At least 1 nationally accredited certification as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Specialist, Strength Coach, etc.

Certified First Aid & CPR w/ AED by American Red Cross (will certify in-house).

Exercise judgment and discretion in the development of proper massage and fitness prescription.

Demonstrate energy and passion for helping others achieve their personal goals.

Strong customer service skills where servicing the “client” is top priority.

Excellent computer skills including MS Office or related products.
