Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and charismatic Personal Trainer to join our private, closed-door studio. Unlike traditional "big box" gyms, our facility operates on a one-trainer, one-client model. Each session takes place in a private room, ensuring total focus, confidentiality, and a bespoke fitness experience. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a quiet, high-accountability environment and excels at building deep, long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Programming: Design and implement comprehensive, goal-oriented training programs tailored to each client's unique physiology and objectives.
Private Coaching: Lead high-energy, focused sessions within a private suite, providing undivided attention to form, safety, and motivation.
Progress Tracking: Maintain meticulous records of client metrics, strength increases, and habit changes to ensure consistent results.
Suite Management: Ensure the private training space remains pristine, organized, and welcoming for every client.
Exceptional Interpersonal Skills
Active Listening: The ability to understand not just a client’s fitness goals, but their lifestyle challenges and motivations.
High Empathy: A talent for reading the room and adjusting coaching styles (from "drill sergeant" to "supportive listener") based on the client's mindset that day.
Professional Discretion: As a closed-door facility, maintaining client privacy and creating a "safe space" is paramount.
Effective Communication: Ability to explain complex physiological concepts in a clear, relatable way.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Certification: Current NCCA-accredited personal training certification (e.g., NASM, ACSM, ACE, or NSCA).
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in personal training, preferably in a boutique or high-end private setting.
Education: A degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field is a strong plus.
