Description
Full-Time | Supportive Team | Structured Mentorship | Career Growth
Are you a new graduate physiotherapist looking for more than just your first job?
Your first few years as a physio can shape the clinician you become.
That's why we're looking for a motivated and caring New Graduate Physiotherapist to join our team and start their career in an environment where you'll be supported, challenged and encouraged to grow.
We know that graduating from university is only the beginning. You don't need to walk through our doors knowing everything. You need the right people around you to help you develop the confidence, clinical reasoning and practical skills to become an excellent physiotherapist.
Why Join Us?
You'll be supported, not thrown in the deep end
Starting your career can be daunting. You'll have access to experienced clinicians who can help you work through cases, develop your clinical reasoning and build confidence in your treatment decisions.
You'll be encouraged to ask questions, discuss your patients and learn from the team. There are no silly questions here.
You'll be part of a team
We believe great clinicians are built in great teams. You'll work alongside a supportive group of health professionals who genuinely care about their patients and each other. We want you to feel comfortable asking for help, sharing ideas and celebrating your wins along the way.
Your learning doesn't stop at graduation
We want to invest in your development.
You'll have opportunities to continue building your skills through mentoring, professional development and exposure to a broad range of patients and clinical presentations. We'll help you identify the areas you're passionate about and develop the skills to pursue them.
You'll develop clinical confidence and autonomy
Our goal isn't to have you relying on someone else forever.
We'll progressively help you develop the confidence and clinical reasoning to assess patients, formulate treatment plans and make your own clinical decisions. You'll be supported as you grow from a new graduate into an independent clinician.
You'll make a difference from day one
Physiotherapy isn't just about treating an injury.
- It's about helping someone get back to work.
- Helping a parent pick up their child without pain.
- Helping an athlete return to the sport they love.
- Helping someone regain confidence in their body after surgery or injury.
You'll have the opportunity to see the real difference your work makes in people's lives. And that's one of the most rewarding parts of being a physio.
What You'll Be Doing
As a New Graduate Physiotherapist, you'll:
- Conduct physiotherapy assessments under appropriate supervision and support.
- Develop individualised treatment and rehabilitation programs.
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
- Prescribe and progress exercise rehabilitation.
- Educate patients about their condition and recovery.
- Develop your clinical reasoning and treatment-planning skills.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships with your patients.
- Work collaboratively with other allied health professionals.
- Maintain high-quality clinical documentation.
- Take an active role in your ongoing professional development.
