At Body Lab, we’re seeking a passionate physiotherapist who thrives on movement-based rehabilitation, performance enhancement, and helping clients achieve their goals. This role is particularly suited to someone with a background in dance, gymnastics, acrobatics, who enjoys combining hands-on treatment with exercise-based rehabilitation.
About Body Lab
Located in Malvern, Body Lab is a leading physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic dedicated to delivering exceptional client outcomes through evidence-based treatment, movement education, and strength-based rehabilitation.
Our purpose-built facility includes private treatment rooms, a fully equipped Pilates studio, and a strength and conditioning gym. We work with a diverse client base ranging from recreational exercisers to elite athletes, providing highly individualised care in a collaborative team environment.
The Opportunity
We currently have an immediate full-time opportunity available, starting from August 2026.
As a physiotherapist at Body Lab, you will work closely with experienced APA Titled Sports Physiotherapists and be supported through structured mentoring and professional development. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career clinician looking to refine their clinical reasoning, rehabilitation, and performance management skills.
Our physiotherapy team currently works with organisations including the Australian Diving Team, Tennis Australia, the Australian National Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics Teams, the Australian Trampolining Team, and athletes from the Victorian Institute of Sport.
Your Role
You will be involved in:
Musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessment and treatment
Sports injury rehabilitation and performance management
Individual physiotherapy exercise rehabilitation sessions
Small-group Clinical Strength classes
Small-group Pilates-based rehabilitation classes
Our exercise classes are limited to a maximum of three clients, allowing you to provide highly individualised programming and utilise your clinical expertise to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Requirements
Caseload includes:
- Sports Physiotherapy
- Gymnastic/Diving/Dance physiotherapy (including pointe assessments)
- Musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Small group physiotherapy exercise sessions
- Individual physiotherapy exercise sessions
Requirements for this role
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (required)
- 2-5 yrs private practice experience and teaching small group physiotherapy exercise (Preferred, negotiable for the right applicant)
- AHPRA Registration
- APMA or APPI Clinical Pilates Training (Preferred)
- A personal background in gymnastics and or dance (Preferred, not required)
- Experience in creating and continually developing individualised exercise programs
- Proficient in the use of clinical reasoning, for appropriate exercise selection and progression
- Experience in the use of Real Time Ultrasound (RTUS) for muscle assessment
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Current First Aid
