Massage Therapist needed for 3 or 6 hours per week onsite at a processing plant in livonia. Company prefers a 6am-9am and a 2p-5p shift but is flexible on which day those shifts fall on. All equipment provided.
Therapeutic injury prevention for industrial food processing plant employees with various repetitive strain issues. Work is done on a table for employees while they are on the clock, and clothed, in 25 minute blocks. SOAP notes are required and interaction/reporting to safety and HR officials is necessary to help employees navigate strains and pains before they need medical intervention.
Job pays $50-$65/hour with no overhead.
MUST be reliable and on time, able to communicate with clients and with safety professionals within the company with the goal of reducing workers comp and injury cases.
Must be available same day/hours every week. Must be able to teach exercises/stretches. Intermittent training provided by head of contract, a therapeutic MT with 20 years experience.
Requirements
Must be licensed and insured. 2mill ins minimum.
Must have some NMT understanding, must have anatomy/kinesiology background/training. Specific interventions for plant jobs can be taught.
