OPHT is seeking a new Strength & Conditioning Coach!

We are looking for an energetic and motivated strength coach to teach small group training sessions, teen strength classes, personal training and our youth performance classes.
About Us
Omnia Paratus means to be “Ready For Anything” and we feel strongly about combining physical training + mental performance training to support the Mind + Body of every individual. We operate out of our state of the art facility close to downtown Apex.
We utilize physical fitness and strength to improve mental health and guide our clients to approach life with a positive attitude as we live by the “Own Your Health” motto.
We specialize in Small Group Training sessions, Youth Performance development, Personal Training, Mental Performance Coaching and Teen Strength Development classes. Everything at Omnia Paratus Health Training is guided by a coach or therapist to maximize clients’ results and overall experience.
Our programming is influenced by a variety of field specific backgrounds including; performance strength & conditioning, functional fitness, rehabilitative training, powerlifting and more. The programming presents variety to keep our clients challenged while still ensuring their ongoing progress.
We are proud of the community that we have been able to build thus far and are looking forward to growing it even further through future events, challenges and competitions. About You
Experience + Skills Required:
Great leader and natural hype person
Preferably a Degree in a related field + 2 years of experience in training and/ or Group Fitness coaching
If no Degree in a related field: 5 years of experience in training and/ or Group Fitness coaching
Maintaining a valid professional certification with nationally recognized organizations (ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, etc)
CPR / AED certified (by hiring date)
Highly reliable, self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
Confident and professional communication skills
Excellent customer service skills

Requirements
We are looking for an energetic and motivated strength coach to teach small group training sessions, teen strength classes, personal training and our youth performance classes.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Teach/ assist small group training classes
Coach youth/teen performance & strength development classes
Conduct elite personal training
Attend weekly team meetings
Cover shifts for fellow teammates when needed
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field (preferred)
If no Degree in a related field: 5 years of experience in Personal Training/ Strength & Conditioning and/ or Group Fitness coaching
Current nationally recognized certification such as:
CSCS (NSCA),
NASM,
ACSM, or equivalent
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
Ongoing continuing education to maintain certifications
Experience
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience coaching strength and conditioning programs (preferred)
Experience working with athletes, general population clients, or youth (as applicable)
Demonstrated ability to design and implement individualized and group training programs
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of:
Strength training principles
Speed, agility, and conditioning development
Mobility, flexibility, and injury-prevention strategies
Ability to safely coach and cue proper lifting techniques
Familiarity with program tracking, performance metrics, and progress assessments
Ability to modify programs based on client needs, limitations, and goals
Coaching & Interpersonal Skills
Strong communication and motivational skills
Ability to lead individuals and groups in a professional, high-energy environment
Professional demeanor with clients, parents, and staff
Ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
Professional Expectations
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized training environment
Adhere to all studio policies, safety guidelines, and code of conduct
Maintain client confidentiality
Represent the studio in a professional manner at all times
Highly reliable, self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Physical Requirements
Ability to demonstrate exercises and movements
Ability to lift and move equipment (up to approximately 50 lbs)
Ability to stand, walk, and coach for extended periods
Preferred (Optional)
Experience with private training studios or performance facilities
Experience with youth or high-performance athletes
Sales, client retention, or commission-based compensation experience
