The School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for Principal at Eagle Bluff Elementary to start July 1, 2026. This position reports to the Superintendent and is a member of the district leadership team.
Please complete the online cover letter addressed to Mr. Ben Barton, Superintendent, and attach a resume, transcripts, and a minimum of two letters of recommendation.
Applications will be reviewed upon receipt and the postition will be posted until March 1. In person interviews are scheduled for week of March 16.

According to Niche, our district is ranked the #23 out of 367 districts in the state of Wisconsin. All three of our Elementary Schools rank in the top 5 of Niche’s Best Elementary Schools in La Crosse County. Onalaska High School boasts a 99% graduation rate with a 76% college acceptance rate.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have (or be eligible for) a valid Wisconsin Principal License. Prior teaching experience required; administrative experience desirable. Must have working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities (PLC’s). Such qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate.
The mission of the School District of Onalaska (Wisconsin) is to work together to ensure high levels of learning for all. Onalaska is located in western Wisconsin with a population of 18,000.
The district has five schools Onalaska High School (OHS), Onalaska Middle School (OMS), Eagle Bluff elementary, Northern Hills elementary, and Irving Pertzsch elementary. The total student population is around 3,000 students.
