Description
CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will implement treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist, provide hands-on patient care, document progress, and support patients in restoring function, mobility, and independence. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a patient-first, community-minded environment that values respect, teamwork, and clinical excellence. CORA offers robust mentorship, continuing education, and clear pathways for professional growth.Implement treatment plans under supervision of a Physical Therapist
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed
Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and response to treatment
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Collaborate with PTs, OTs, and other rehab professionals to coordinate care
Assist with patient scheduling, flow, and clinic operations as needed
Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Support a patient-first, respectful, and team-oriented clinic culture
Participate in continuing education and in-service training
Therapeutic exercise instruction
Neuromuscular re-education
Manual therapy techniques
Application of physical agents and modalities (e.g., e-stim, ultrasound)
Outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
Basic neurologic rehab interventions
Patient education and home exercise program development
Clinical documentation and EMR use
Gait and balance training
Knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics
