CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will implement treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist, provide hands-on patient care, document progress, and support patients in restoring function, mobility, and independence. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a patient-first, community-minded environment that values respect, teamwork, and clinical excellence. Implement treatment plans under supervision of a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting
Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises, functional training, and use of assistive devices
Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and response to treatment
Assist with manual therapy techniques and modalities as delegated by the PT
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Support clinic operations, scheduling needs, and equipment cleanliness/safety
Uphold evidence-based practice standards and CORA clinical protocols
Participate in continuing education, mentorship, and quality improvement activities
Therapeutic exercise prescription and progression
Outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
Neuromuscular re-education
Manual therapy and soft tissue techniques (under PT direction)
Use of physical agents and modalities (e.g., e-stim, ultrasound, heat/cold)
Gait training and balance/fall-prevention interventions
Patient and family education on home exercise programs
Clinical documentation in EMR systems
Pain management strategies within scope of PTA practice
Knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics

Active state-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Graduate of an accredited PTA program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience with outpatient orthopedic and sports rehab preferred
