The Knee Joint, powered by JOUR-KNEE, is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist (40 hours per week) for our established, award-winning private outpatient physical therapy practice in Marin County. Salary range is $90K to $112K.

Our practice is built on the three principles of Modern PT: evaluation, education, and exercise. Those three pillars drive custom programs and above industry average client outcomes.
You will work in an open practice space, where collaborative plans of care lead, evidence-based exercise carry the programs, and mentorship comes directly from a DPT who is a lifelong athlete and has treated thousands of surgical and non-surgical clients with lower extremity conditions across every level of complexity. HOW WE PRACTICE
Care here is delivered one-on-one, start to finish. Sixty minute evaluations and forty-five minute follow ups.That structure is what protects your session length, keeps caseloads reasonable, and lets the plan of care be driven by the client in front of you. The continuity of care allows you and your clients to notice improvements faster and see better long term outcomes. We operate on a cash-pay, and Medicare/Medicare Advantage hybrid model.
MENTORSHIP AND GROWTH
Regular mentorship and case review with a DPT who specializes exclusively in the lower kinetic chain: hips, knees, ankles, and feet. New graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome.

WHO THRIVES HERE
- California-licensed or license-eligible PTs who are strong communicators, curious about clinical reasoning, and committed to evidence-based practice of Modern PT (evaluation, education, exercise).
- CSCS or equivalent strength credentials, and orthopedic or sports experience are a plus.
- You communicate openly and build real relationships with referring physicians, surgeons, and the other providers on a client's care team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of orthopedic lower kinetic chain diagnoses, establish treatment plans and set goals.
- Collaborate and coordinate with referral sources and patient progress.
- Discharge planning with physicians, patient, family, practice manager and family as needed.
- Document daily notes, patient evaluations, re-evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and other client care related activities.
- Attend scheduled departmental meetings, mentoring sessions, training and case reviews.
- Meet or exceed all deadlines established.
- Be physically present in the workplace on a daily basis as scheduled.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Assumes a professional working relationship between clients, staff and management.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to establish and adjust to changing schedules and priorities.
- Effectively and efficiently execute duties with minimum direction to meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule format.
- Must be punctual, have a good attendance record, and have reliable means of transportation to work.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
- Must have passed the National Physical Therapy Examination and hold a valid California Physical Therapy License or be a Physical Therapist License Applicant (PTLA).
- Experience working with active and athletic populations preferred.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, and electronic medical records and home exercise programs.
