Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation in an inpatient setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. You will assess patient needs, restore function, improve mobility, and educate patients and families on continued care. Assess patient condition by observing their movements and listening to their concerns.
Develop tailored care plans based on patient assessments and available resources.
Implement physical therapy interventions accurately, based on plans of care and best practices.
Educate patients and families on treatments and home exercises.
Maintain timely and accurate patient records.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care provision.
Participate in professional development and training to ensure best practices.
Strong understanding of physiology and kinesiology.
Ability to manage multiple patient needs and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills and empathy.
Proficiency in using physical therapy software and equipment.
