Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation in an inpatient setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. You will assess patient needs, restore function, improve mobility, and educate patients and families on continued care. Assess patient condition by examining muscle and joint function, mobility, coordination, and overall physical ability.
Develop tailored treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Implement physical therapy interventions to improve patient mobility, manage pain, and prevent disability.
Document patient care and progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and recovery phases.
Keep abreast of advancements in the field and integrate evidence-based practices into patient care.
Strong understanding of biomechanics, kinesiology, and evidence-based rehabilitation methods.
Excellent patient management skills to assess and strategically improve patients’ physical functions.
Proficient in using physical therapy tools and equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
