- Physiotherapist (Private Practice)
Description
About the role
Advance Physiotherapy is looking for a Physiotherapist to join our growing team in the Clare Valley.
This is a varied private practice role with the opportunity to build a caseload around your clinical interests while working within a supportive, experienced multidisciplinary team. Our caseload is broad and includes musculoskeletal and sports injuries, rehabilitation, persistent pain, post-operative care, paediatrics, vestibular and neurological conditions, women’s health and general community physiotherapy.
We’re not looking for someone to simply move patients through a busy diary. We want a physio who enjoys getting to know their patients, thinking clinically, providing high-quality care and becoming part of the community they work in.
Depending on your interests, your role may include:
- Assessment and management of a varied musculoskeletal and sporting caseload
- Exercise rehabilitation and return-to-sport programming
- Working with local sporting clubs and athletes
- Gym-based rehabilitation and strength programming
- Running or assisting with small-group rehabilitation and exercise classes
- Opportunities to develop an area of special interest
- Working collaboratively with our physiotherapy and broader allied health team
- Building relationships with local GPs, specialists, sporting clubs and other health professionals
- Opportunities to work across our Clare and regional locations if this interests you
Our clinic is well equipped, with a large rehabilitation gym and Pilates studio alongside technology including AxIT strength testing, force plates, BlazePods, diagnostic ultrasound and other rehabilitation equipment. We want our physios to have the tools and time they need to provide excellent care rather than being limited to treatment in a room.
Who we're looking for
We would love to hear from both experienced physiotherapists and new graduates.
More than anything, we're looking for someone who:
- Cares about providing genuinely good patient care
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Is motivated to continue developing clinically
- Is comfortable being involved in an active, community-focused private practice
- Values evidence-informed practice and exercise-based rehabilitation
- Wants to build meaningful relationships with patients and the local community
- You don't need to arrive with a particular speciality. If there is an area of physiotherapy you're passionate about, we would love to help you develop it.
Why Advance?
Advance Physiotherapy has grown around a simple goal: people living regionally should have access to the same standard and breadth of physiotherapy care they could expect in a metropolitan area.
Our team has clinicians with advanced training and interests across musculoskeletal physiotherapy, women's health, vestibular and neurological physiotherapy, paediatrics, sport and rehabilitation. We strongly encourage ongoing professional development, collaboration and sharing knowledge across the team.
You'll have the opportunity to work independently while still having experienced clinicians around you to bounce ideas off, discuss complex cases and learn from.
Most importantly, we're a locally owned clinic that is deeply involved in the Clare Valley and surrounding communities. From local sporting clubs and schools to regional health services and community programs, we want our team to feel connected to the people we're here to look after.
If you're looking for a physiotherapy role where you can develop your career, have variety in your week and make a real contribution to a regional community, we'd love to hear from you.
