SurfEdge Sports Physiotherapy is expanding and is seeking an experienced, motivated physiotherapist to join the clinic on the Sunshine Coast.
SurfEdge is a performance-focused physiotherapy clinic built around the philosophy Recover. Perform. Excel. The clinic works primarily with ocean athletes, multi-sport athletes, and endurance athletes, alongside active individuals who value structured, high-quality care and long-term outcomes.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop and own their own clinical niche within the clinic, aligned with their interests and the clinic’s performance focus. This may relate to a specific sport, athletic population, clinical area, or service stream.
SurfEdge provides physiotherapy services to Alexandra Headland Surf Life Saving Club, the largest surf lifesaving club in Queensland. The clinic is also involved with athletes preparing for and competing at high-level events, including the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships and Iron Series. There are opportunities for involvement in these high-performance environments for clinicians with an interest in sport and performance.
SurfEdge is a registered provider of the ONERO exercise program. ONERO is an integrated part of the clinic’s service mix, with opportunities for the successful applicant to deliver classes, develop expertise in exercise-based bone health management, and take ownership of this service stream as part of their niche.
The role is suited to a physiotherapist who values strong clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and strength-based rehabilitation, and who is motivated to contribute to the growth and direction of a developing clinic.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
Hold current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
Have 3 to 5+ years of clinical experience
Have experience in private practice and an ability to maintain and grow a caseload of regular clients
Have a strong interest in sport and performance-based physiotherapy
Enjoy managing sporting and complex musculoskeletal presentations
Value strength-based rehabilitation and progressive loading
Have a clear clinical interest they are motivated to develop into a niche
Be proactive, engaged, and motivated to contribute to clinic growth
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, athletes, and stakeholders
